The Summer Crush family is thankful to be safe after hurricane Milton, but we will have a lot of clean up to do at the winery from tornado damage to the property. Although there is a lot of clean up, we are thankful there was very little structural damage. We hope those of you who also endured this storm are safe and your property ok, but we do know many have suffered much destruction and loss and our hearts break for you.
As much as we would love having everyone at the winery this weekend, we will need to be closed this Saturday and Sunday, 10/12 & 10/13, in respect for what many in our community have and are going through, as well as observing an abundance of caution for the safety of our guests, time needed for clean-up work to be done, and the power being out due to snapped telephone poles.
We will be contacting all who had tickets for this weekend’s events as soon as we can and we look forward to having folks back out next weekend. We are not sure yet what day next week the tasting room may re-open, but we will announce it on our website if we are able to re-open before next Saturday.
