WINE DOWN FOR IMMEDIATE DORIAN RELIEF. THIS SATURDAY (9/7/19) 1-5pm. REGGAE music by Freeport native Cecil Smith and his Stormy & the Treblemakers Band. 50% of the days beverage sales and 100% of all server tips will be donated to the recovery efforts. Summer Crush will also be taking any voluntary donations as well as needed supplies such as: Baby supplies (like Diapers, Wipes, Formula, non-refrigerated Baby Food, Baby Clothes etc…), OTC Medicines and First Aid Kits, Protein Bars and Breakfast Bars, Canned Food & Hand Can Openers, Powdered Crystal lite and Lemonade etc.. (no water), Clothing, and other such essentials, as well as the all-important generators, drills and chain saws and hand tools. We are working with non-profits like Angels Of Hope Outreach Ministries Inc., businesses like White's Tackle and Stuart Jet Center (who is working with the Coast Guard and has access to Blackhawk helicopters to get supplies to Walkers, Freeport and West End immediately), as well as friends with businesses and roots in the Bahamas who know the local needs and have the ability to navigate the treacherous conditions when they become safe to get supplies to those who need it. All cash collections will go towards purchasing supplies. If you can’t make it this Saturday we will remain a drop off station for supplies and donations for as long as our connections have the need. #Bahamastrong
